The historic center of Guardiagrele is well preserved and winds through the ring road of the ancient walls, now fortified houses still delimited by medieval towers, such as the Torre Adriana and Torre Stella complex, which include access via Porta San John. Of the ancient fortified town of the Longobardi remains the Orsini Tower at Largo Garibaldi, from which the main axis of Corso Roma, which winds up to the communal villa, crossing Piazza Duomo with the Cathedral of Santa Maria Maggiore. The other main historical routes I know are Tripio, Via Modesto Della Porta and Via dei Cavalieri, which passes under the Gothic arch of the Duomo.
