Badia a Coltibuono, Abbey of 1051, is the first wine resort in Chianti that offers a truly exceptional experience. The artifacts from the archaeological site are on display at the Origo Museum in Gaiole, just a few miles from our hotel. We offer a unique Cooking Class experience on Tuscan cooking in a historic family kitchen, where Lorenza de' Medici was the leader. Today, the “Signore delle Cucine” continue her work. Tours of the Abbey, the thousand-year-old wine cellar and tastings of our wines, including historic vintages, make up to unforgettable days.
