Your stay in a house that was a convent from the 1600s will be a unique and fascinating experience. Imagine stepping through the doors of a building that has endured centuries of history and exudes an atmosphere of mystery and spirituality. You will be able to explore the surroundings of the convent and discover the historical and natural beauties of the area. About 300 meters from the apartment, there is a leaning bell tower. Approximately 600 meters away stands the Sanctuary of Peace. Next to the sanctuary is the Chapel of Miracles, where the miracle occurred on June 9, 1658, the day of Pentecost. The ancient Regina Road, which wound along the western shore of the lake, was laid out during Roman times and was one of the most important transit routes, as it allowed for a quick connection between the Po Valley and the Alps. For centuries, the Ancient Regina Road represented the link between the South and North of the Alps, between the Como and Milan areas and the transalpine regions. Scholars of the ancient Regina maintain that the medieval road passed uphill, at the base of Borgo Castello and below the first rocky ledges, crossing the Senagra River and ascending towards Loveno.
