Situated between the historic village of Roseto Capo Spulico and the lively marina, our home offers an ideal setting to enjoy both the peace and coolness of the hill and the summer vibrancy of the coast. The beach is just a 3-minute drive away, or a scenic 7-minute walk — though the return journey is a bit steep. The room is bright and welcoming, with a beautiful sea view. Guests can relax on a private balcony with a small table, perfect for watching the sunset, or enjoy breakfast in the garden, featuring homemade jams and a selection of products tailored to individual preferences. For those without a car or those who simply prefer not to drive, we offer a convenient transport service (by prior arrangement) to the beach, stations, airports, or other nearby destinations.

Irma is the owner of the B&B and lives on the premises. After a life in Milan, she decided to move to Roseto Capo Spulico in 2024 to embrace a quieter pace and enjoy the coastal lifestyle. She is kind, patient, and very attentive to her guests’ needs, always without being intrusive. She loves welcoming travelers from all over the world, offering a relaxed and homey atmosphere, while also deeply respecting the privacy and personal space of those staying in her home. Irma speaks Italian, English, and Spanish, with basic knowledge of French and German, and is always happy to chat, offer advice on places to visit, or suggest where to eat. From time to time, you may also meet her children: Dario, a medical student in Siena, and Giulia, who lives in the United States. The house is also home to Sam, an old, calm, and affectionate cat who loves to relax in the garden or in the common areas.

The cities of Matera and Taranto are easily accessible by car in about an hour, while the international airports of Bari and Lamezia Terme are approximately two hours away, making our property convenient for those arriving from farther afield. There is ample free parking available directly in front of the property. Just a few minutes by car, you’ll find supermarkets (Sisa and Pick-up), restaurants, gelaterias, and everything you need for a relaxing holiday and a taste of authentic Calabrian cuisine.
