Charming terraced house, situated in a quiet residential complex in the middle of greenery on the Trieste Karst, in the locality of Aurisina Stazione. Casa al Ponte is arranged on two floors: on the ground floor there is a large living area with a sitting room and a kitchen-diner equipped with dishwasher, gas cooker, oven, microwave, toaster; on the first floor the sleeping area consists of a double bedroom, a bedroom with two bunk beds and a room equipped with a single bed and two baby beds. Outside, protected by walls and flower beds, there is a delightful green area to enjoy the cool summer evenings or have breakfast in the company of some birds! Wifi, self-heating. -> we ask our guests to close the shutters and windows when leaving the house and also in the case of bad weather (wind, storm, etc.). Any damage caused by non-observance of these rules will be charged to the guests. -> We point out to our guests that it is not allowed to move furniture or remove objects in the flat without prior permission. -> We ask our guests to ventilate all rooms daily, opening windows.

La Casa al Ponte is set in a residential area dotted with small villas on the Karst plateau, which is very green and quiet. In just a few minutes on foot or by bus you can reach the centre of Aurisina, where you will find all services such as a supermarket, post office and bank. Bus numbers 43 to Sistiana and Duino, 44 and 46 to Trieste pass along the main road. The surrounding area is dotted with renowned agritourisms and the famous 'osmizze', where locals spend their free time in the company of friends eating and drinking in good company. There are also several farms in the vicinity that produce the best local wine, with renowned labels including Zidarich, Colja and Kante. Our advice is to let yourself be pampered and guided in the discovery of local flavours by the winemakers, who will know how to show you the best pairings for Vitovska, Ribolla and Teran (also known as 'the blood of the Karst'). Also very famous is the Bunker Brewery, where you can eat and drink excellent beer selected with passion and care by the managers. Behind Aurisina it is possible to organise numerous excursions on the Karst; there are also many caves, some of which can be visited. By car it is easy to reach the scenic Sentiero della Salvia and the Tiziana Weiss lookout, the beaches of Canovella, Le Ginestre, Portopiccolo and Sistiana, and of course the city of Trieste. Free parking is possible in the free area in front of the gate for up to two cars. Please park so as not to obstruct the passage to other houses. It is very easy to reach the beaches and other attractions in the surroundings; along the many paths you will find breathtaking views of the sea!
