Casa Clementina is located inside the Castle of Malgrate, a 1351 medieval fortification located in the village of Malgrate, in the municipality of Villafranca in Lunigiana, in Tuscany. A historic house, on two floors, with a large terrace and a wonderful view of the Lunigiana countryside. Casa Clementina has 6 people in 3 double bedrooms, with full kitchen, lounge, reading room and double loggia to eat and a panoramic terrace perfect for sunbathing The free parking is located right in front of the Castle, a few meters from the main entrance and from Casa Clementina. Live a unique experience and spend your holiday immersed in the history and beauty of Lunigiana, in Tuscany.
Lunigiana is a historic region located between Tuscany, Liguria and Emilia Romagna. Its name derives from Luni, an ancient Roman colony founded at the mouth of the Magra river in 177 BC. Over time, the Lunigiana area assumes more and more importance above all thanks to the Via Francigena, pilgrimage route to Rome, and thanks to the Obertenghi marquises, from whom the Malaspina, a powerful family which gave life to important and numerous castles and fortified villages.
