Casa Costarella is located within the historic walls of San Gimignano, between Piazza Duomo and Piazza della Cisterna, in a stone building dating back to 1836. Fully renovated in 2023, the 120 m² residence combines preserved historic character — original masonry and exposed wooden beams — with modern systems including underfloor heating and cooling for year-round comfort. The apartment is arranged over two levels connected by an internal staircase. The ground floor features an open kitchen, dining, and living area with direct access to a private enclosed courtyard — a rare and valuable feature within the old town walls. Upstairs, there are three double bedrooms and three full bathrooms, including two en-suite bathrooms. The layout offers both shared living space and privacy, making it ideal for families or friends traveling together. The courtyard, accessed through a private gate, provides a peaceful outdoor setting for breakfast, a glass of wine, or a relaxed evening after exploring the town. A covered private garage space for one car is included and located approximately a five-minute walk outside the city walls.

Casa Costarella is set on a quiet secondary street in the historic center, just steps from San Gimignano’s most iconic landmarks. Piazza Duomo, Piazza della Cisterna, Torre Grossa, museums, traditional restaurants, wine bars, and artisan shops are all within easy walking distance. Despite the central location, the area becomes noticeably calmer in the evenings once day visitors leave, allowing guests to experience the authentic rhythm of the town. San Gimignano also serves as an excellent base for exploring Tuscany, with Siena, Florence, Volterra, and the Chianti region easily reachable by car.
