Casa Maitö is an ancient rural house perched in the village of Aia Vecchia. Enjoy a stay of peace immersed in the unspoiled nature of the Valbrevenna, or explore it through the hiking trails of the Monte Antola Natural Park. If you are curious, I will have the pleasure of telling you some historical facts and stories handed down about these ancient villages, but especially about Maitö, a woman who lived and survived in this valley in the mid-1800s.
My name is Mattia and I also live in Casa Maitö, but in a separate area from the one where you will stay and with an independent entrance. You will have your privacy but if you like you can spend some time with me.
To reach the accommodation it is necessary to cross a small part of the village on foot. After parking the car in the town square, you have to walk uphill for a few meters and face some steps. The nearest supermarket, bar and tobacco shop is about a 20-minute drive from the property.
