The house consists of two bathrooms and three bedrooms: two double bedrooms and one with two single beds. Casa Rodriguez is located in the historic center of Iglesias, a pleasant and quiet town with a fascinating history intertwined with that of Sardinia. The historic center is full of historical attractions that tell the story of the city's greatness over the centuries, offering a true immersion in the past. Iglesias is a city with roots in the 1200s, when Count Ugolino della Gherardesca, a historical figure also in Dante's Divine Comedy, received the territory. His noble family contributed to the construction of numerous buildings, both religious and civil, that still dominate the town today. Notable among them are the Salvaterra Castle, the Cathedral of Santa Chiara and the Church of Our Lady of Valverde. Walking through the historic center, you will come across the ancient medieval walls, built by the Pisans between the 13th and 14th centuries, which line the districts of Castello, Fontana, Santa Chiara and Mezo. The best preserved part is the northern one. A walk through the center will take you to Corso Matteotti, a lively shopping street lined with Art Nouveau buildings that tell of the economic prosperity that characterized the city in the early 1900s. Just outside the walls is Piazza Sella, the city's living room, where you can admire the magnificent Mining Institute and the striking Monumental Cemetery.
