Nestled perfectly in the hills of Emilia-Romagna, South West of Italy's food capital - Bologna, you will find Casa Stella Country House. An original countryside villa curated with a perfect blend of Italian and English elegance, where guests can truly explore and recharge seamlessly. Formerly known in the local dialect as Ca' di Strala, this charming villa has been in the Maselli-Ferro family for over 300 years. Sympathetically renovated, Casa Stella Country House is a special place that everybody can enjoy. The villa is embraced by the picturesque municipality of Savigno. A warm and welcoming community of people who truly understand their food, wine and truffles. Upon entering Casa Stella Country House one will discover original Art Deco / Art Nouveau lighting and antique furniture, fixtures and fittings, alongside the history of the Maselli-Ferro family. It is a home away from home, to experience 'La Dolce Vita' in true bygone style.
We would like our guests to feel like family. It is important to us that they enjoy the villa in the hope that they leave with Casa Stella Country House in both their hearts and minds.
The picturesque municipality of Savigno is a warm, amiable and welcoming community of people who truly understand their food, wine and the meaning of the word 'Artigianale' or 'Artisanal' in English. From truffle (Tartufo) to wine (Pignoletto being the local wine of choice), whilst not also forgetting Parmesan cheese and delicious cured meats (Salumi), you are always guaranteed to be taken on a gastronomical voyage of magical discovery.
