We bought the house in 2010 and we have completely renovated. We fell in love immediately of its splendid position, a few steps from the sea and at the same time, just 2 km from Piazza Unità, the most central and most fascinating of Trieste. Another highlight of the house is the lovely garden with open views of the hills behind the coastal area's most popular city. Especially in spring / summer it is very pleasant outdoor dining, sunbathing on the loungers available or just relax in the peace and tranquility of a lush green area, situated in a quiet street.
Me and my family love traveling. We have always adopted the choice of visiting new places by staying in an apartment rather than a hotel. All this in order to feel more connected and close to the way of life of the locals. These experiences made us discover the pleasure of meeting local people and discover places and cities through their suggestions and their experience, as well as the usual use of the tour guides. Having the opportunity to reciprocate that opportunity thanks to the ample of Casa Vacanze Barcola, we would like to convey the same pleasure to all those wants to discover our wonderful city.

A lots of restaurants, pubs and supermarkets within 300 meters. 300 meters from the promenade and beach of Barcola and a bike path connecting the Miramare Castle to the city center. 350 meters from the ferry connection with Piazza Unità (Molo Audace), Bay of Grignano, Sistiana Bay. 400 meters from the "Vittoria" Lighthouse. At 2 km from the Central Railway Station. 3 km from "Piazza Unità" (the second biggest square on the sea in Europe) and the city center. 3 km from Miramare Castle. 3 km from the pier Molo Audace and IV from where the ferry boat to the main ports of the coast of Istria (Croatia) leaves. 4 km from San Giusto Castle and the Jewish Synagogue. 4.5 km from the hills of the plateau of the Carso. 6 km from the Sanctuary of Monte Grisa. 7 km from the caves of Borgo Grotta Gigante. 8 km from the border with Slovenia. 9 km from the House Monument "San Sabba" the only one nazism-lager in Italy during the 2nd War . 12 km from the Castle of Duino.
