The most ancient part of the residence was used in the XVII Century as "post station" on the Francigen way. Pilgrims and voyagers were housed could warm up, rest and refresh themselves waiting to resume their journey. Today this tradition has not changed and only the change of horses is missing... The swimmingpool is open between June 1st and September 30th. Maybe longer period, not shorter.
