In the heart of the Val di Vara Ancient stone house dating back to 1200 along the banks of the Crovana river in the historic center of Varese Ligure for a relaxing holiday where it will be difficult to get bored ... Where it is possible to combine 3 holidays in one: sea, countryside and mountains! ! trekking and mountain biking on the Ligurian mountains of Alta Via (up to 1600 meters), to the sea of the 5 Terre easily reachable from the Levanto station about 30 minutes away, and to the renowned Baia del Silenzio in Sestri levante (reachable in 20 minutes) ; taste the excellent organic cuisine (Varese Ligure is the first European municipality with environmental certification) or indulge in some shopping in the nearby outlet; try the thrill of rafting and for the little ones dive into the swimming pool of Varese Ligure surrounded by greenery, or the others in the area, take a horse ride or visit the nearby Adventure Park. In the evening, be pampered by the gentle sound of the river for a sweet and conciliatory rest. I forgot !!! In September everyone picks mushrooms !!!
Two words about me .... My name is Francesca and I am the mother of a beautiful little girl Matilde, to whom I have dedicated the name of this little house. Like all working mothers, I lead a hectic life made up of a thousand commitments: work, family, unexpected home !!! However, despite the days lasting only 24 hours, I still try to find a moment to say "stop" !, relax, close the world out the door to find myself in a space beyond time, where I can realize my passion and concentrate only on what I love most, I like and pamper me. The care of the house and its environments, the creation of accessories and artistic recovery of the furniture of the past. I deeply love Varese Ligure, and I decided to build this small holiday home taking care of it in every detail, trying to create a warm and welcoming environment full of the love I have for these places.
The house is located in the historic center of the town, in the ancient district of Grecino in front of the historic bridge of the same name. This is the first urban settlement of Varese Ligure dating back to the Byzantine era. This district represented the access road of the ancient merchants to Padania where they brought the goods arrived by sea. The village has an unusual circular shape and is counted among the "most beautiful villages in Italy"
