Property info

It all started with a sunset. When I saw the apartment for the first time, it was old, badly maintained, but it had the taste of ancient Florentine history. The wooden beams on the ceiling, the gypsum frames that framed the walls, the steep stone stairs of the old Florentine houses, the wooden windows ... then when I went out onto the terrace ... I was invaded by a light beautiful that dyed pink all over the sky, I look to the left and Uahooo ... the Dome the basilica of San Lorenzo, Cappelle Medicee..splendido ... all pink seemed to touch them. A unique show. The beauty you never get used to. I decided to buy and share this wonder. So I did. The works lasted a whole year, total renovation, to create something unique and special. Solid wood parquet, new but antique-style lacquered doors, such as handles, Each room, its bathroom, imagined, designed, made with details, colors, materials, fine furnishings, everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail to make every room a beautiful and different unique environment. A long and hard work but the result I hope can be appreciated.

Neighborhood info

The area is Via dell'Ariento, the street where are the peddlers, bags, belts, leather goods, clothing, shoes, souvenirs, but also the old Florentine shops: the bakery, the pastry shop, the pottery shop , household items then myriad of restaurants of all kinds, traditional Florentine cuisine such as Da Michele, Zazà, Piazza del Mercato, Lorenzo de Medici in Via del Giglio, La Capannina, bars, luonge-bars, taverns where you can have a drink with a chopping board. We are two minutes walk from S.M. Novella, in front of the Central Market, where on the ground floor are still the old Florentine shopkeepers, butchers, fishmongers, fruit, cheeses, groceries, on the 1st floor a large open space with every type of catering offer open every day until at 24. It is a very central area, only pedestrian like the parallel Via Faenza full of restaurants and typical restaurants. All the monuments and museums can be reached within a few minutes on foot. Piazza del Duomo is 5 minutes, 2 minutes to the Medici Chapels where Lorenzo the Magnificent and members of the Medici family are buried, 2 minutes to the beautiful Piazza S.M. Novella with the basilica with famous paintings by Giotto.
