Breezy contemporary style brings a chic twist to the authentic stone house that is Casa La Brugna. This private retreat overlooks the valley of Monte Molinatico from an idyllic location in the village of Baselica conveniently located at the intersection of the regions of Tuscany, Liguria and Emilia Romagna. Its expansive grounds are surrounded by beautifully thick forest teeming with wildlife and offering stunning views over the mountains.

While it would be very easy to spend a week or more just relaxing at Casa La Brugna, there’s plenty to explore beyond its lush gardens. The iconic Italian cities of Florence, Pisa, Bologna and Milan are all within a two hour drive. Nearby, you can visit the charming pastel-coloured houses of Unesco World Heritage fishing villages of Cinque Terre as well as the high-end boutiques and seafood restaurants of Portofino. The region is most famous for its Porcini Mushrooms, Parma Ham and Parmesan cheese. The area surrounding Casa La Brugna is ideal both for short walks and longer hikes, and the local alpine club regularly offers guided tours. Casa la Brugna is the last house in the valley providing complete privacy and a feeling of blissful peace and tranquillity. The 1km gravel access road meanders down to the villa adding to its rustic charm. Once you have arrived you can freely park the car on the premises.
