Como old town is in a pedestrian area; car is not necessary; any place is easily reachable by foot: the lake, the ferries, railway station, shops, restaurants and all the beautiful churches and historical villas to be visited. Principal railway stations can be reached walking: Como San Giovanni is about 1km, Coo Nord Lago at 700 meters. Ferries boats departures is at 300 meters walking from home.
