Amid the gently rolling hills of San Martino in Pensilis in the Molise region of Southern Italy, Marina Colonna’s country house can be found nestling in a patchwork tapestry of sunflower, wheat and tomato fields, surrounded by the ancient olive groves that have been producing high quality, estate-bottled extra virgin olive oil for many years. Our guests are welcomed with organic produce from our garden.

Easy access to Termoli Beach (15 min drive), with daily boat trips to Tremini Islands. Many Medioeval small towns: Larino, San Martino in Pensilis, Casacalenda, Montorio nei Frentani and Colletorto are located close to the Estate. Guests can also enjoy excursions to the Lipu Nature reserve as well as a variety of archeological tours as Molise has a surprising amount of important Roman, paleo- and pre-Christian sites and a wealth of medieval villages: Agnone, Pietrabbondante, Capracotta, Scapoli and Sepino. The beautiful Gargano promontory is only one hour distant; this area is reach of beautiful churches, sanctuaries, castles, stunning pebble beaches and a National Park.
