Property info

Hi there this property has belonged to our family for many years and we have kept the original antiques and furniture which represent our family and Italian history. A typical Tuscan Villa with much character and which is part of an Historical Estate. The gardens and the swimming pool with its outdoor kitchen are shared with the guests of the other Villa in the Estate. Smoking is slowed in outside areas. Pool opening times 8am to 8pm. Electricity/aircon is charger on consumption. We look forward to welcoming you in this beautiful part of Florence !

Neighborhood info

The Melograno is situated on the old road leading to the Chianti area which is still the same size and same ancient walls of hundreds of years ago. Shops and restaurants in the neighborhood are mainly visited by locals, Small typical grocery shops and restaurants are from approx 600 mt away, while the big Coop is approx 1 km away. A stunning recommended walk is up Santa Margherita a Montici all the way to Il Gioiello of Galileo Galilei (The house of Galileo). Next to this, there is one of the old Trattoria Omero which offers very typical Florentine Dishes, overlooking the city. Please note that the walk is quite far and the roads are quite narrow.
