“Il Risveglio nei Sassi” is a recently renovated property located in Via dei Fiorentini in the heart of Sasso Barisano, just a few meters from the historic centre of Matera. It consists of 2 bedrooms and 2 private bathrooms, and it comes with a 24h air ventilation system, hot and cold air conditioning, and a dehumidification system. Adjacent to “Il Risveglio nei Sassi” is also a paid spa service. The entire Sassi of Matera are a limited traffic zone (LTZ), therefore the property can only be reached by a free shuttle service provided by the Municipality (also available for check-out). If necessary, however, parking is easily available near the historic centre. The location of “Il Risveglio nei Sassi” is ideal for wandering around and visiting on foot the Sassi Barisano and Caveoso, all the cave dwellings and museums in the area, as well as the nearby historic centre.
