"Il Vecchio e Il Mare" ("The Old Man and The Sea") friendly and family B & B is located in Fiumicello, a hamlet on the sea of Maratea, a few steps from the railway station, from the Marina, from the beach of Fiumicello and the picturesque Darsena. It offers its customers a peaceful rest and a continental breakfast to ensure a great holiday in the Pearl of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
Michele, the owner of the B & B, is a professional fisherman ... by his passion for the sea and fishing was born the idea of "The Old Man and The Sea." The hotel's proximity to the coast and the marina make it more impressive.
"The Old Man and The Sea" is located in Maratea, called 'Pearl of the Tyrrhenian Sea'. With its beautiful 36 km of coastline is the only outlet to the sea of Basilicata. The region offers a spectacular coastline that combines a hilly and mountainous landscape. In a few minutes you can reach the coast of the Christ the Redeemer statue is 600 m s.l.m. Maratea is also known with the definition of "city of 44 churches", they are numerous places of worship   scattered throughout the territory, particularly in the Old Town.
