It is an apartment of about 70 m2 in a single country house, a few km from Arezzo, at the beginning of the Casentino, in the silence and peace of nature between meadows and stars. It has a garden overlooking the countryside that at certain times of the year is filled with sunflowers and beautiful colors. Excellent starting point to visit Arezzo (7 km) Siena (65 km), Cortona (35 km) Florence (70 km) and the National Park of the Casentinesi Forests (30 km) without losing the Italian atmosphere of the countryside. The owners reside 100 m from the property and are available in case of any need.
I am a retired teacher, a lover of the countryside and eager to meet new people. I provide this lovely apartment and my knowledge of the area for those who want to know Arezzo, the Casentino and Tuscany in general.
Arezzo is known worldwide as the City of Gold, famous for the Saracino Giostra and the city of Guido Monaco, inventor of musical notation. Among the attractions of Arezzo we find: Piazza Grande, Santa Maria Pieve, the Antiquarian Fair every first weekend of the month, Basilica San Francesco where there is an absolute masterpiece of Italian art, "The legend of the True Cross" by Piero della Francesca, the Cathedral, museums, the Roman amphitheater, the Medici fortress with a magnificent panoramic view of the city, the church of San Domenico where there is the Crucifix of Cimabue and the church of S. Maria delle Grazie with the marble altar of Andrea della Robbia.
