La Punta is an eco-friendly hotel in the Salento region, 200 metres from the beach and marina of Otranto. It offers a large outdoor terrace, and bikes are available to rent at reception. Rooms are brightly decorated and are equipped with air conditioning, TV and a private bathroom. Guests can relax and enjoy a drink out in the shady garden. La Punta Hotel is just 5 minutes' walk from Otranto Train Station. The historic city of Lecce is a 50-minute drive and the port of Brindisi is 85 km away. Staff can organise excursions to Maglie, Gallipoli and the Greek architecture of the Grecia Salentina area. The hotel is proud of its energy and water saving, use of alternative energy sources, and waste reduction and recycling.
