Two-room apartment on two floors overlooking a large stone terrace overlooking the Magra valley and its castles, solarium by day and privileged point for contemplating the starry sky by night. The newly renovated apartment is modern in style despite being part of an ancient building and complete with equipment that makes it suitable for long stays. Complete bed linen is provided, two pairs of pillows and a three-piece set of towels per guest with weekly change in case of long stays. The optimal temperature is guaranteed by a modern heating system and a latest generation air conditioner. The living room on the ground floor and the sleeping area and the bathroom on the upper floor are connected via a modern spiral staircase with a diameter of one meter which DOES NOT ALLOW ACCESS TO HANDICAPPED PERSONS AND PEOPLE WITH OBESITY. From the terrace onto which our apartment overlooks, you can enjoy the most beautiful view of Lunigiana, in total tranquillity. All the main services are less than 2 km away.
I have lived in Lunigiana for years, I practice trekking, even demanding, canoeing and mtb, I play the drums but calmly, far from home... I gladly accompany my guests on walks in the woods, mountain excursions, canoe trips in the Magra river park and mtb rides along the innumerable marked routes that start directly from the Orturano car park.
The area is suitable for those who love tranquility, life in the open air, trekking, mountain biking, the historical heritage of the medieval and Renaissance periods, good food. The country is crossed by marked paths and mtb routes that develop for km. Nearby flow among the most beautiful torrents of Tuscany with their crystalline waters and spectacular waterfalls. The locality borders the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines Park. Excellent starting point for the sea which is 35 km away and for the most beautiful coastal towns in the provinces of Massa and La Spezia. Two and four kilometers away, respectively, pass two important paths, the Via del Volto Santo and the Via Francigena. At night absolute silence falls and the sky above the terrace is an immense carpet of stars.
