Company info

One of the first B&Bs in Puglia, now a fully licensed holiday home, La Scisa offers independent, renovated and bright apartments with a fully equipped kitchenette and free private videomonitored parking. We are just a short walk from local shops and only 5 minutes from Marina di Novaglie, within the Otranto - Santa Maria di Leuca Natural Regional Park. The location is also perfect for teachers on transfer: the school complex is just a 5-minute walk away. We offer comfort, independence and the warmth of hosts who truly know this territory.

We are Monica and Giuseppe, and for over 26 years we have been welcoming our guests like family. "La Scisa" is part of our Agrosì farm, where we offer cooking classes, olive grove tours, guided walks in our private Agrosilvae woodland and tastings of our organic products. Activities take place in nearby Supersano, but we are always here in Alessano to welcome you personally. What we love most about hospitality is sharing the authentic flavours and traditions of Salento with everyone who stays with us.

Neighborhood info

Our quiet neighbourhood is crossed by the Via Francigena, welcoming pilgrims and walkers from across Europe. In Alessano, the MIMAC Museum of Contemporary Marian Art dedicated to Don Tonino Bello is a must-see, alongside beautiful Renaissance churches, the Armonia Literary Festival and the Notte della Taranta in August. The Ficandò and Pri Pri festivals in Montesardo draw thousands of visitors every year. The sea is just 5 minutes away at Marina di Novaglie, and 10 minutes to Lido Marini and Torre Vado, among the most beautiful beaches in Salento.
