Over the past 40 years, I've planted hundreds of roses in the garden of my family home, which provide blooms and fragrance, alongside thousands of shrubs, flowering bulbs, and perennial weeds in a harmonious jumble. But flowers aren't my only passion. I love art, animals, and beauty in all its forms. Perhaps "beauty won't save the world," but it will make it less sick.

The 700 bloomed roses offers an unforgettable scenario, just like fireflies that light up our night during June. Believe me, dinner shared at a large table is an experience not to be missed. Honestly, if you're just looking for a room to spend the night, this is definitely not the place for you. However, if you're interested in discovering a hidden world (not that much, we're just 2.5 km from town) where the pleasure of hospitality and love for our land led us to open the doors of our home 36 years ago, then La Traversina is definitely the place for you. Last but not least, we only serve vegetarian meals. The reasons are simple: the awareness that our world has lost its way in respecting farm animals.
