The Property is delighted to provide a small historical overview of the origins of this building, which welcomes you as cherished guests. This farmhouse is registered at the municipality of Cavriglia as “Colonica La Valle”, and it is directly named after the place where it is located; namely, “Valle di Sopra” (Upper Valley). “La Valle” was built all the way back in 1730 and, considering its dominant position, it is assumed that it was probably a manor house built and inhabited by the landowners.The B&B “La Valle” is only 3 km away from the San Giovanni Valdarno railway station, which can also be reached through a convenient cycling path. In the structure, a large free and reserved parking area is also provided, and it can be reached by car from the A1 highway – Valdarno exit, 8 km away from the toll station.The location of the “La Valle” farmhouse is strategic for the needs of tourists; in fact, it is positioned halfway between Arezzo (city center: 41 km by car; 32 minutes from the San Giovanni Valdarno railway station), Florence (city center: 48 km by car; 40 minutes from the San Giovanni Valdarno railway station) and Siena (city center: 49 km by car).
The location of the “La Valle” farmhouse is strategic for the needs of tourists; in fact, it is positioned halfway between Arezzo (city center: 41 km by car; 32 minutes from the San Giovanni Valdarno railway station), Florence (city center: 48 km by car; 40 minutes from the San Giovanni Valdarno railway station) and Siena (city center: 49 km by car). Cavriglia is located “at the doors of the Chianti”; from here, you can easily undertake a magical path, which will take you to the most fascinating villages of Toscany and of Italy.
