The Locanda ai Provveditori has two apartments on the second floor of a building in the center of Marano Lagunare (UD). The building dominates the central square of the town. The building has stairs and a lift. Each apartment has a bedroom with a double bed (divisible beds), a living area with a double sofa bed, a kitchenette with a hob and a dishwasher, a bathroom with a window, a shower and a bidet. The apartments are equipped with air conditioning (cold/warm), TV, kettle. On the ground floor you will find the inn's bar while on the first floor you will find the restaurant where, upon extra payment (prices from the list), you can enjoy breakfast or lunch or dinner.
Welcome to Marano Lagunare, between nature, history and food and wine tradition. Our inn with wine shop and restaurant is set in this splendid setting! Aperitif area: to discover wines with the sommelier Elisabetta and taste the classic Friulian crostini. Elisabetta loves to indulge herself with wines from various wineries from all over the world and continuously offers native vines from various countries and different wineries. The historic coastal village of Marano Lagunare has been part of the Republic of Venice for almost 400 years and is very proud of this past, which is still evident everywhere: in the appearance of the historic center, in the dialect, in the economy, in which fishing plays a fundamental role, and in the typical seafood gastronomy. Marano is also the starting point for discovering the lagoon: an area of ​​exceptional natural beauty that is home to unique fauna and flora of great naturalistic value. The Marano Lagoon is characterized by marsh vegetation and the particularity of its temporary fishermen's settlements, the typical "casoni", buildings made of reeds and wood, which make it one of the most interesting places in the Upper Adriatic. Among the traditions, the sea procession held in June in honor of the patron saint San Vio (San Vito) is very evocative.
