Our family has worked on and with the land for generations and finally, in 1985, we decided to open our 18th century farm to offer visitors a unique taste of Tuscany. We are five siblings, all extremely passionate about what we do and dedicated to offering our guests a charming, special and unforgettable experience here at Montestigliano. Our traditional and rustic yet refined Italian hamlet, dating back to 1783, is totally immersed in nature and provides guests with luxury and comfort, a home away from home, complete with all services and two swimming pools in the heart of Tuscany, only 12km from Siena and within easy reach of the Chianti area, Florence, Pisa, Lucca, San Gimignano, Montalcino, Montepulciano and Pienza. The beautiful family-run farm sits atop its own hill, overlooking the Merse river valley, surrounded by green spaces, centuries’ old woodlands and delightful Tuscan villages. Montestigliano is a working family-run farm that offers visitors an authentic taste of Tuscany. Dating back to 1783, the secluded hamlet is situated in the heart of beautiful Tuscany, completely immersed in nature yet so close to the region’s most loved treasures and sights of interest such as Siena, Florence, the Chianti area and Montepulciano. An oasis of peace and tranquillity that provides its guests with luxury and comfort while they relax by one of the two large swimming pools. The estate is spread over two thousand acres of land covering fairy tale woodlands, cypress avenues, fields of wheat, barley, sunflowers and maze, and groves of 3,000 olive trees from which we make our delicious DOP extra virgin olive oil. Each farmhouse has been renovated in great detail, the style, décor and charm of Montestigliano make it a special and unique destination for a wonderful, enjoyable and most importantly memorable holiday.
