'Palazzo Malaspina' B&B is located in San Donato in Poggio, declared since December 2022 among the 300 most beautiful medieval villages in Italy in the heart of the world-renowned wine region of 'Chianti Classico', halfway between the beautiful cities of Siena and Florence. Each of the bedrooms has a classic Tuscan charm with family antiques and precious fabrics. From some of the rooms you can just glimpse the towers of San Gimignano, from others, little gardens overlooking the Chianti countryside. Luxurious bathrooms which three of them have a Jacuzzi.
My name is Maria and I was literally born in this Family Palazzo (a few) years ago. It was only 13 years ago that I decided to open the doors of my Palazzo to guests coming from all over the world and I'm very happy to introduce every single guest to the beauty of the Chianti region. I also love to prepare every single morning a freshly home made cake and I highly recommend you to try it to start your day in Chianti in the best possible way!
My B&B is located in the heart of the Chianti area, a world-renowned wine region in the heart of Tuscany. In San Donato in Poggio declared since December 2022 among the 300 most beautiful medieval villages in Italy. We are close to Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and Volterra and to many other characteristic medieval villages surrounded by vineyards, olive trees, cypresses. We can help you to find all the info you need to organise your wine tastings with the local wine producers, and all the info for fantastic bike tours and cultural trips around the Tuscan hills!
