Piano Piano is located in the heart of the historic center of Matera, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It is a structure of 2 suites, in a typical building perfectly set in the intricate network of houses that make up the Sassi. Its name derives from the care given to every detail in the recent renovation: few materials, rigor and simplicity inspire our concept of living. The result is a unique, fascinating place, in harmony with the Sassi but at the same time modern, equipped with all the comforts we can no longer do without. Piano Piano is an invitation to slow down, to listen to each other and experience the quality and experience of places and people. It is not an alternative or trendy way, but it is the only way to investigate landscapes such as the cultural site of the UNESCO site in Matera.

And then there is us, Tiziana and Giuseppe, ready to give you every useful information and suggestion to better enjoy your stay, more than a visit, an experience! Giuseppe is a geologist by profession and is able to transmit his passion for Matera through dense scientific notions of this city which, citing the words of the mayor, is "the best human interpretation of geology". Tiziana, after twenty years of work in software development in a multinational company, has decided to devote her energies to this small project by making use of past experiences.

The structure is located in the city center, 2 minutes from the main square of the modern city, Piazza Vittorio Veneto, where you can visit the Palombaro Lungo, an immense cistern that was part of the Sassi water collection system; at a distance of 10 minutes on foot from Casa cava, a fascinating hypogeum that hosts musical events and conferences. Ideal starting point for visiting the Sassi. Piano Piano is surrounded by delicious restaurants, the excellence of catering in Matera, as well as bakeries and dairies for end of journey supplies!
