Podere Piazza is part of a larger estate established in the 15th century. The house was built in the early 17th century and it was the residence of Alessandro Cervini degli Spannocchi, a nobleman who was appointed Archbishop of Siena on May 29, 1747. Podere Piazza still bear his coat of arms today. The small private church, that you meet with at the beginning of our driveway, dates back to this time period. As our guest, you will have the opportunity to live in one of the best residential areas of Siena, and share with us and our neighbours this beautiful semi-rural setting just outside the old city. Here, at Podere Piazza, you can fully enjoy the best of both worlds: the quietness of countryside and buzz of a urban setting. The atmosphere is private and friendly, suitable for families and small parties of friends (the house accommodates up to six people). The vast garden surrounding the property is free for the guests to use: it is an ideal spot for sunbathing and dinners alfresco, as well as an excellent playground for the children.

We are a German-Italian family with two children and a Labrador. We speak German, English, French, Spanish, and Italian, and we live only 100 meters away. We shall be delighted to assist you throughout your visit with tips and the planning of diverse activities in the region.
