Alessandro is a former Architect and now a passionate winemaker of 41 years old. In 2015 he moved to maremma to make natural wine and met Eleonora who has a strong background as a pastry chef having worked in many restaurants and run her own pastry shop. "Poggio Cagnano is where we cultivate our passion for wine and food and nature but most of all Poggio Cagnano is our home: intimate, familiar, warm and this is how we want you to feel"

Poggio Cagnano is an organic winery located near Manciano on a hill that dominates the area with a beautiful view from the Amiata mountain to the Argentario sea. The guest house is a unique combination of modern and rural featuring local materials and some iconic furnitures from the 50s.
