You will feel at home, this is the goal! I will be of support for any need. The apartment is equipped with everything you need to stay, you will only have to bring your personal things. Apt is located 250 meters from Piazza Grande, the heart of the city, from where you can easily walk to all the city's artistic and architectural attractions, museums, restaurants, and shops, many of which are open on Sundays and public holidays. 60m2, ground floor (there are 7 steps to climb) in a medieval origin condominium building, renovated in 2014 with parquet, original terracotta, exposed beam ceilings and tiles, comprising: Double bedroom (160x190 cm), large living area/kitchen with double sofa bed (160x190 cm) with 17 cm mattress, bathroom with shower and private terrace sheltered from prying eyes, furnished with plants and flowers (aromatic plants, thyme, rosemary, basil, oregano, parsley), table and umbrella, offers also an art gallery by local artists (paintings, sculptures, lamps, etc.). Bed linen (changed weekly) and bathroom linen (changed every 3/4 days) are included, as is final cleaning, except for the kitchen, which must be cleaned when used, under penalty of a surcharge as regulated in the contract. Fully equipped kitchen, electric oven, dishwasher, including all basic necessities including, water, coffee for Moka, Nespresso machine with capsules, carafe for infusions (American coffee), kettle, tea, herbal teas, chamomile tea, dried fruit, decanter and wine glasses. AMENITIES INCLUDE: Kitchen and household detergents, iron and ironing board, clothesline, washing machine, neutral personal hygiene products (shampoo, shower gel, hand soap, shower cap), hairdryer, 2 additional pillows, scented candles. For long stays, you will need to purchase them once the initial supplies run out. Blackout curtains on the living area windows, for who use of the sofa bed. Secure space to store your bicycles. Smoking is prohibited; you can smoke on the terrace.
An Android Smart TV in the living area allows you to stay connected to the internet and use your PayTV accounts. Free and covered public parking is available 400-700 meters walk away, where I'll do you a favor to pick you up. Privately owned apartment for tourist rental, by law requires a short-term rental agreement at no cost. In the message sent at the time of booking (see "Important information to read") will provide the details, which will be completed and signed at check-in. SUMMER SEASONS: Given the apartment's ground-floor location, the 80-cm thick walls of the medieval building, and the excellent thermal and acoustic insulation with double glazing, it's warm in winter and cool in summer. The maximum indoor temperature in summer when outside it's 38°C is 26°C. At night, opening the opposite windows allows cool air from the mountain near the city to enter, allowing for comfortable sleeping, it is often necessary to cover yourself or close the windows.. Electric mosquito repellent net is installed in all rooms to keep out it, but there aren't it many and ther are fans. No one can enter in the apartment because it's in the middle of a city block. Portable air conditioning is available, bringing the temperature in one room up to 17°C (63°F) for an additional fee. WINTER SEASON: The heating temperature will be a fixed, unmodifiable 20°C (68°F), in keeping with energy conservation principles. Upon request, the maximum temperature can be set to 21°C (70°F), with an additional nightly charge. Higher temperatures are not permitted! CHECK IN is from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A surcharge applies for arrivals after 8:00 PM, payable at check-in. Any arrivals before 2:00 PM can leave your luggage and begin your activities. CHECK OUT is by 11:00 AM, with luggage storage available. Upon arrival, I will provide you with a historical overview of the city and point out all the historical/artistic sites you can visit, as well as recommend restaurants.
The apartment is located in the historic center, in the oldest part of the city, 250 meters from Piazza Grande, a quiet, peaceful area with very little traffic due to its restricted traffic zone. Arezzo is one of the oldest cities in Italy, founded in 1000 BC by the Villanovan civilization, a civilization of central Italy dating back to 1000 BC, followed by the Etruscan civilization from the 9th century BC. The last advanced civilization we know of was, in fact, the last matriarchal civilization, which, as we know, did not willingly wage war. Due to the imprint of the Etruscan civilization, Arezzo was a crucial center in Italy for all human disciplines from the beginning of recorded history until the Renaissance, when Arezzo and the four valleys surrounding it can be considered the cradle of the Renaissance, more so than Florence for the first part of the Renaissance. To name three random names from the Renaissance of city, we might recall Michelangelo, born in Casentino; Vasari, born in the city; and Piero della Francesca, born in Sansepolcro. We might also recall Spinello Aretino and Bartolomeo della Gatta, the most important painters born in the city; the Della Robbia family from Valdarno; Signorelli from Cortona; and many others, as in many other cities. Another figure I like to remember, besides Guido Monaca, the inventor of musical notation—to return to the multiplicity of human disciplines explored by the Aretines—is a figure who didn't do anything artistic, merely initiated an action that took his name: a certain Gaius Cilnius Maecenas (Patron), born in Arezzo in the 2nd century BC. MUST VISIT: Ch. of S. Francesco (Frescoes by Piero della Francesca), Vasari House Mus., National Mus. of Medieval and Modern Art (Renaissance works by Vasari, Bartolomeo della Gatta, and Spinello Aretino), Archaeological Mus., Palazzo di Fraternita Mus., Casa Bruschi Mus., Medici Fortress, S. Maria della Pieve Ch, Cathedral, San Domenico Ch (Cimabue), S. Flora/Lucilla Ch.
