Salicornia is a charming villa where refined luxury and breathtaking views create the perfect conditions for a relaxing holiday, just a stone's throw from the highlights of western Sicily. Located in Marsala, facing the Egadi Islands, the villa is immersed in the Sicilian countryside and offers ample space for relaxation, a large infinity pool, a terrace and a large jacuzzi with sunset views that will provide you with an unforgettable experience. Worth knowing: On arrival you will sign a short-term contract with house rules. The pool is fenced off and equipped with a children's gate, and the staircase is also equipped with gates. The jacuzzi upstairs, on the other hand, is an infinity pool. In any case, we leave all responsibility for the supervision of children to our guests. Please do not wear jewellery or metal objects when swimming in the pool. Please do not wear shoes when entering the upper floor. Please do not leave the air conditioners on if you are outside or with the windows/glass doors open. We also ask you not to use the air conditioners all at the same time and to use electrical appliances preferably during daylight hours. Finally, any animals will only be allowed with the host's explicit permission. Indoor The main entrance places you on the ground floor, where you enter into the spacious living area. The lounge features a home cinema system and a piano. You and your loved ones can choose from hundreds of international TV channels the 50” Smart TV and sink into the white comfortable sofas, where you will enjoy the warmth of the lovely fireplace. The kitchen (30 square meters; 323 sq. ft) can also be accessed from the patio. It is fully equipped with family refrigerator/freezer, open-plan kitchen with island, six-ring stove, dishwasher, wine refrigerator, pots and pans, plates and utensilies, coffee maker, ice maker, toaster, blender, microwave, etc... This room is linked to a dining area and access through sliding glass doors to the furnished patio, overlooking the garden. On the same floor are a double bedroom (with en-suite bathroom and private access to the veranda) and a complete bathroom with bath and shower. The first floor houses a master bedroom with double bed and en suite bathroom (shower and bath tube) and another comfortable double bedroom: both with access to a private panoramic terrace with Jacuzzi and outdoor shower. Here guests can relax while admiring the bewitching sunset with views of the lagoon’s windmills and the Egadi islands. On the same floor, a third double bedroom with garden view and a modern bathroom with huge shower. extra beds for children available. Outdoor Alfresco life revolves along two sides of the house, facing the walled pool area. The living and dining areas of the house, as well as one the bedrooms, flow out onto a shaded pergola terrace that runs along the entire façade of the property, offering soft hammocks gently swaying in the breeze and ample space for reclining, chatting and dining. On the opposite side of the garden, a spacious children's playground with slides, swings and everything needed for the entertainment of the little ones, shaded by a monumental gardenia tree. In the same area is the covered parking.

Locar area For a stay with friends or family, Villa Salicornia is the commitment of a trip placed under the sign of all the pleasures of the Sicilian life: gastronomy, nature, relaxation, party and authenticity. Marsala, just a few minutes away, is most commonly known for its fortified wines, invented for export by English traders in the 18th century. It was also the starting point from which Garibaldi launched his attack on the Bourbons to ignite a revolution that was to create the nation of Italy. Today, the town boasts a beautifully restored centre with some great restaurants and bars and some excellent beaches. One of the most suggestive experiences that can be done here, between a breathtaking view and a combination of colours and scents, is a tour of the Stagnone lagoon and Natural Reserve, with the islet of Mozia and the adjacent saltworks. In this site the Phoenicians, in the eighth century, took advantage of the ideal conditions of this part of the island – flat, windy and sunny coast- to channel seawater into ponds where it evaporated, and the resulting salt was harvested and then exported throughout the Mediterranean basin. Despite their ancient origins, the salt pans are still being worked using traditional methods. This site is also very important for the survival of many biological species such as herons and pink flamingos, which stay at this little paradise to reproduce during their migrations. The Stagnone Lagoon seduces travelers not only with its landscapes and cultural treasures  but lately became one of the most popular kitesurf destination in Europe. Sure is the best spot for windsurfing and kitesurfing. A peculiarity of the Stagnone is that the water is always warm, due to its low level and the lagoon conformation. An added benefit of staying in Marsala is the hydrofoil service to Favignana and the Egadi Islands: a 30-minute trip directly from Marsala (or 20 minutes from Trapani) will take you to an island paradise of sandy beaches
