Siena, on the other hand, has one of the most beautiful squares in the world, the shell of the Piazza del Campo, where the Palio, a medieval horse race, is held twice a year; also, the imposing Duomo, the ancient city hall, and a multitude of art treasures that can be admired in various museums.
