Sonic Alchemy Studio BnB is a quiet historic stay in the Casentino hills of Tuscany, set inside a centuries-old stone house in the village of Castel Focognano, near Rassina. The house is part of Sonic Alchemy, a residential recording studio and creative retreat space for artists, composers, writers, and thoughtful travellers. The BnB offers a calm, atmospheric place to rest, walk, work, read, write, or explore a less crowded side of Tuscany. Guests stay in a private BnB area of the house, with access to a dedicated bathroom reserved only for BnB guests. Depending on the room selected, the stay may include a simple private bedroom or a larger historic suite with additional space to relax. A simple self-service Italian breakfast basket is provided. It may include packaged pastries, biscotti, fresh fruit, yogurt, tea, and instant coffee. The suite also includes useful self-service comforts such as a kettle, coffee and tea, a fridge, microwave, plates, and basic dining items. This is a historic Tuscan home, not a modern hotel. The house does not have air conditioning due to its historic structure. Thick stone walls help keep the rooms cooler than many modern buildings, and fans are provided, but guests who require air conditioning should choose accommodation with AC. The house is in the historic village centre, above a restaurant. Most evenings are calm, but occasional restaurant noise can be heard until around midnight. Sonic Alchemy Studio BnB is best suited to guests who appreciate character, atmosphere, simplicity, and a slower rhythm of travel. It is a good base for walking, exploring Casentino, visiting nearby villages, or spending a few quiet days in a more personal and creative setting.
