Our cottage is located on the Monte Argentario and is ideal for sea and nature loving guests, here you can really chill and detox, and if you like you can enjoy the small village of Porto Santo Stefano for restaurants and cafes. You also have fine supermarkets and farmers markets available at the village with local fresh fruit, veggies, fish, cheese and meat. You can go scuba diving or hire a little boat and explore the coast. You can rech amazing beaches by car or small coves leaving your car and walking. Tap Water is not drinking water but ok to cook and everything else.
Either me or my collaborator will welcome you, hand you the house keys and we will make sure you find a welcome bottle of wine at your arrival.
The beautiful clean Tuscan sea and sea activities are the highlight of a holiday spent on the Monte Argentario. As well as walks. You can easily reach the ancient ruins of the city of Cosa with it's small museum, located on the Ansedonia hill, a most romantic spot overlooking the Feniglia beach, a truly amazing experience. Siena is also not far away and a must see destination. I f you are a Etruscan lover you can reach Tarquinia and visit the many beautifully decorated tombs. The Feniglia beach, with the pine forest behind it,(natural reseve, protected environement) and the dunes, 6 km of unspoiled nature is worth a lovely walk and swim, you can hire a bicicle and ride inside the pinev wood listening to the cicadas and enjoyng the shade, you will ride by the spot where Caravaggio died.
