Our R&B is open all year !! You will be immersed in the absolute green, far from everything. The sensation is like being at home with the pleasure of falling asleep in the evening and wake up in the morning with the sounds of the forest and the mountains .... and see deer, fallow deer, foxes, wild boars and maybe some wolf in the distance .. the traditional home cuisine is genuine and trying to meet a type of tourism respectful of the environment, economy and communities, especially local and to develop and pursue some little effors to reduce the impact on the environment (ecocooking , no-waste, KM 0, self-production, etc.)
We are married: Giorgio and Valeria Genovese, transplanted directly from the Milan hinterland in 2014, stressful and chaotic, in that Valtaro Valley .... In short, we are immersed in the almost untouched nature, in search of "good living". The passion of both for outdoor sports and then 30 years love for the two wheels of Giorgio, before enduro motorcycle and then mountain bike, were a starting point to create something unique and innovative for these places: a Rooms & Breakfast mainly dedicated to bikers, especially those who prefer the ALL-MOUNTAIN, and their bikes.
The area and the R&B are ideal for a combined holiday: you'll find relaxation and tranquility all around the house, it is also easy and central for dayly trips to Lunigiana in Tuscany, Cinque Terre, Sestri Levante and/or Chiavari all ligurian locations (for a day at the beach) in Parma and Bologna. An area that can be covered with beautiful mountain bike tours in the green, with fascinating horseback riding, hiking with the discovery of small but charming villages or go for vacations or medieval villages .... even in winter! At 5Km away you can also visit the WWF Reserve of Ghirardi occupying 600 hectares of meadows, woods and streams in the Valtaro Valley. It is home to countless species of animals, plants and mushrooms; home to rare habitat and an enchanting landscape. It constantly changes throughout the seasons. Every day the Reserve is open to visitors on foot from entry from Costa dei Rossi (Albareto) or Porcigatone (Borgotaro) The area is renowned for mushrooms of Borgo Val di Taro (in the period of growth and harvest from September to November)
