This new accommodation Property (recently renovated) is located along an ancient pedestrian path, a cobbled street of about 600 meters mixed with stairs (about 150 steps), which can be covered in about 7 minutes. This walking way starting from the Square of Minuta, a small medieval village in the heart of the Amalfi Coast, it leads to the Basilica and then to the sea of AMALFI beach (1.8 km on foot). The Relais has been entirely renovated according to the WARM TYPICAL STYLE of the AMALFI COAST, with terracotta floors and hand-painted majolica tiles by the owner; in same time it is furnished with a refined mix of antique furniture and contemporary design. Its characteristic location, reachable only on foot, close to ancient ruins, makes Villa Amì unique and guarantees you to enjoy privacy, silence and tranquillity at any time of your stay, in the much sought-after AMALFI COAST a short distance from chaotic Amalfi.

The AMALFI COAST is not only landscapes, good food, sea, but also lots of greenery, lemon groves and overhanging vegetable gardens, small churches, quiet medieval villages, and trekking paths. Our structure is positioned in the greenery right on one of them, through which you will arrive, in 30 minutes on foot, directly on the beach of AMALFI. Scala is made of small villages. Villa Amì is located in the Borgo di Minuta on the pedestrian route to Amalfi. It is among the most beautiful villages of the Amalfi Coast with a fabulous and unique Panorama. Villa Amì is adjacent to the Ancient Basilica of Sant'Esutachio, founded in the 11th century, built by the Noble D'Afflitto Family in the Republic of Amalfi; from the gardens and Belvedere of the Villa you can enjoy a complete view of the ruins of the ancient Basilica. Villa Amì itself stands within the perimeter of the ancient noble residence of the D'Afflitto. Impressive remains of the medieval Palace still stand majestically in the gardens and the Belvedere, consisting of the site of the ancient Palazzo D'Afflitto. From Villa Amì you can reach Ravello by car in 5 minutes (2.5 km of road). The square of Ravello, the Duomo, the Villa Rufolo, Villa Cimbrone can be reached in about 25 minutes on foot. The descent to Amalfi on foot (30 minutes) passes through the ancient village of Pontone, Borgo di Scala but inserted in the defensive and residential context of the ancient city of Amalfi. From Amalfi it is possible to reach all the locations of the Amalfi Coast, the Sorrento peninsula and also the Cilento Coast. From Villa Amì, with a rental car it is possible to reach the most important archaeological sites as: Paestum / Archaeological Park, Archaeological Park of Pompeii, Herculaneum and Naples. By a scooter you can take a tour of the Coast in complete freedom. By a boat you can take an unforgettable tour along the Amalfi Coast.
