The Villa is an oasis of calm, immersed in gentle forests, with two swimming pools and extensive grounds with baroque gardens. There is a contemplation "Giardino alla Italiana" designed and built recently by the owners as well as meandering paths within the forest. We believe that guests look for an experience to remember, and we are here to provide it.

Property info

Villa Bertagni embodies the best of Tuscany. It was built 500 years ago by a noble family from Florence as a retreat. It still is. The villa is part of a country estate, which stretches over 140 acres of grazing land, forests and a waterfall which runs through the land. It was purchased by Patricia and Moshik during 2013. The main building houses the lobby and breakfast areas, while the nearby buildings which are eighteenth century, houses the guestrooms which are designed to the highest standard and adapted to the environment and the nature of the villa. We commit ourselves to your perfect vacation.

Villa Bertagni is located in the Garfagnana Valley surrounded by magnificent forests, lakes and rivers. The villa is about 2 km from the town of Castelnuovo di Garfagana which is a medieval city over a thousand years old with more than 150 shops and dozens of restaurants of authentic local cuisine. The wonderful cities of Lucca, Florence, Pisa, Chianti region and Cinque Terre are all within driving distance of an hour to an hour and a half. Extreme sports and hiking are all available nearby.
