Welcome to Villa Elvira, an architectural gem dating back to 1931, designed by the Sienese architect Vittorio Mariani.
Nestled in a charming garden with centuries-old trees and protective walls, this villa boasts significant historical and artistic relevance. Located just 3 km from Siena, in a position that offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city and the surrounding countryside of the Sienese hills. Inside, you will find a rich history embodied in the furnishings and luxury finishing materials dating back to the early 1900s. The large windows and glass panes, characteristic of the era, offer a 360-degree view of the surrounding landscape. The villa is divided into three residential units, each of considerable size, and also includes a charming external cottage. With a total capacity of 17 sleeps, distributed among eight spacious rooms, Villa Elvira offers a unique and unforgettable experience even for larger groups in search of comfort and historical charm.
We are Elisa and Paolo, owners of Villa Elvira 1931 and parents of two boys: Enea and Zeno. With us are Trilly, our dog, and six cats! We love nature, mid-century design, art and quirky objects that shape the villa’s character and that you’ll find spread around the whole property. Paolo works in wine; I now take care full-time of the house, the park, and garden. We’re cheerful, creative, and often onsite. We look forward to welcoming you for an authentic stay.
To ensure your comfort and privacy, the house is equipped with self-check-in, allowing you to access it independently starting from the check-in time, following the detailed instructions that we will send you before your arrival.
We live a short distance from the villa and you may see us taking care of the garden and house maintenance.
However, we want to assure you of the utmost respect for your privacy and we are always ready to assist you promptly in case of need.
The house is located in a very tranquil, silent, safe, and green neighbourhood of Siena.
