Villa Il Paradisino is a stunning Tuscan estate right outside Florence that has been in our family since 1839. Stepping into our property is like walking into “Paradise” with its picturesque olive groves, typical Tuscan architecture and lush vegetable gardens! I work with my family to maintain our gorgeous property, hoping one day to pass it to the next generation. Cooking is one of my biggest passion ever since I was a child watching my parents cook wonderful meals for our family and friends. My family would host large food gatherings and I often relate being with my parents cooking for our loved ones. My love for cooking grew because my grandmothers were amazing cooks and I always loved to eat! Today I’m happy to give cooking lessons to our guests, children also, teaching the family recipes and hoping to diffuse a little bit of our culture and traditions. Through my degree in agriculture science and technologies I learned how to grow in a healthy way what we eat and I have a deep love for farming and the tradition of farming. I enjoy meeting new people to pass on a little bit of our history and to learn from them about their history and traditions – hosting travelers has a special meaning to me because it make me feel like I’m traveling the world! We like nature very much and so gardening and having animals: here you can visit a garden full of plants, century old trees and beautiful flowers. Our cats and sweet dog will be your companions while you stroll around in the fields. We also keep free range ducks, rabbits, chickens and hens that kindly give us fresh eggs every morning to share with our guests.

Villa Il Paradisino is located in Sesto Fiorentino, a small town surrounded by beautiful hills and the Apennine Mountains, just 6 km NW (4 miles) from Florence historical centre. From us it takes 5 minutes walking to Caffès, 10 min to Bakeries, Delli and grocery shops, bank and pharmacy. Medical studios just 15 minutes walking distance and very nice restaurants 20 minutes walking. You will be 1 hour driving from many world-wide renowned art cities like Siena, Pisa, Lucca, Pistoia, Arezzo and medieval villages like San Gimignano, Volterra, Certaldo as well as the beautiful Val d'Orcia and Mugello countryside and the Chianti wine region. We are about 2 hours and 30 minutes drive from Rome and Venice and about 3 hours from Milan the fashion capital of the world. Our geographic position is absolutely exceptional to visit Florence (12 minutes ride by train) and the Tuscan region: you can establish your home base in our Villa and drive everyday visiting different places: we are 3 km (1.8 miles) from the exit of A1, the most important Highway that connect you with many cities and town.
