Overlooking the sea Of Santa Maria di Leuca, Villa La Meridiana is a refined charming abode that was built in 1874. It is characterized by an unique facade decorated with yellow ochre stripes and Pompeian red, which during summer is enriched by bushes of red Bougainvillea.

Neighborhood info

The charm of Santa Maria di Leuca, this beautiful city nestled in the cliffs and directly overlooking the sea, is related to the presence of several villas, all different in style and rich in history. In 1868 ten villas were built in the city and one year after they became fifteen. In 1876 they amounted to a total of twenty and after five years other twenty-three villas were constructed. It seemed like the owners were making a competition on who had the most beautiful villa.
