I'm Japanese, I speak Japanese, Italian and English. My husband is an Italian, speaks Italian, English, French and Spanish. We have 2 beautiful boys. I have lived most of my life in Tokyo, then one day I decided to move to Rome. After almost 10 years in Rome, we decided to move to Sicily that we fell in love at first sight. I believe in what Goethe saying. "You have to come here, to Sicily, in order to understand Italy."

SALINARA it was originally built in the 1700s. It is a rural farm, a “baglio”, a “masseria”, a typical Sicilian building with a courtyard in the front and rooms that open up on it. Surrounded by vineyards and olive groves located about 500 meters from the sea, with Mediterranean sunset view. Immersed in history and culture, It is the perfect holiday hideaway with a beautiful sea view where both body and soul can regenerate, giving a positive energy. We try to let guests to experience the best Sicilian traditional cuisine and local wines. We have an organic vegetable garden for guests with different varieties of vegetable and fruit. Fresh eggs from our lovely hens. During the renovation of the villa we worked with local artisans and we used only natural, local products. We tried to keep all the rooms more or less like they were, we wanted to respect the authentic Sicilian style. All our marbles are Sicilian, the colors used to paint the wall were made by Sicilian grounds and natural lime. Located in the extreme western tip of Sicily, along the route that the Phoenicians laid, and in the seas where Ulysses once ventured. This magical landscape has an abundance of windmills, salt pans, tuna fishing, several islands and pristine beaches. SALINARA offers the opportunity to easily visit the unique and historical places such as, Mazara del Vallo (the Italian fishing capital, famous for the statue of the Dancing Satyr), and the best tuna in the world. The wonderful beach of San Vito Lo Capo, Erice, Segesta, Selinunte and Mothia. Also from the port of Marsala, in a few minutes you can reach the Egadi Islands, Favignana, Levanzo, and the wild Marettimo. A few minutes from VILLA SALINARA is the beautiful sea side city of Marsala, where you can stroll, shop and eat in a relaxed setting, and visit the many wineries that are open for tours. About 10 Km from the International Airport of Trapani Birgi.
