VillaSerrabnb comprises the ground floor of an Art Nouveau villa dating back to the 1920s. The property has been inhabited for the past hundred years by members of the Serra family, and the painter Mauro Ferreri, much loved by the citizens of Oristano, once lived and worked in the very space used for guest reception. The rooms are partly adorned with paintings by the painter and other local artists. It's also important to note that the house overlooks the street where, every year during Carnival, the historic Sartiglia event takes place: a thick layer of sand is spread along the street to allow the horses to gallop in the race to the Star. This ancient and evocative event features a display of the knights' equestrian skills, along with a parade of sumptuous traditional costumes. All of this takes place directly in front of the bed and breakfast, making it easy to capture unforgettable images.

The concept behind VillaSerraBnB is one of authentic hospitality, in some ways simple, understated, yet warm. The host's goal is to promote local knowledge, providing as much useful information as possible, while respecting guests' privacy.
