Vista Romena is a special place, with a direct view to the Romena Castle. Set in 13 hectares of olive groves and woodland, with a full size croquet pitch (the only one in Italy) and 4m high waterfalls which you can bath under. The farmhouse was built in 1705, using the stone from the Castle after the earthquake of 1579. It was part of the castle estate until 1982 when it was a complete ruin. Now fully restored and run by sculpture artist and garden architect Richard Marti.

I am a sculpture artist and garden architect. I have a plantation of 680 Olive trees and 170 chestnut trees. I have a special organic vegetable garden which is a demostration area to show guests how you can be self-sufficient in a space of just 12 x 10m. I am also a keen croquet player and have a full size Croquet pitch on the property that you are welcome to use. Love to meet new people and share my space with them.
