Leave your worries behind when you book this apartment in Porto Santo Stefano - Monte Argentario. It is in a very quiet street in town, ten minutes away from the beaches and harbours. There are 2 balconies, both looking out onto the sea, 1 bedroom, a kitchen, a bathroom and a lounge. It is only two hours by car or train from Rome. The apartment is full of natural light and you can drink your aperitif on the balconies or go to one of the many bars on the harbor. The house is on the 3rd floor, no lift. It is on a pedestrian street so no car or motorbike noises. When you arrive in the house, you will find a chilled bottle of water and one of prosecco. There is a coffee machine and coffee grains; a kettle and various amenities such as tea, salt, sugar, oil and vinegar. I am trying to avoid single use plastic so the shampoo, soap and conditioner are all refillable. There are beach towels, a parasol, and swimming goggles. There are some board games in the living room, and cds and a radio. All the rooms have air-conditioning and a through breeze from the balconies. The views are onto the sea, from all the windows and also onto a quiet garden. The water storage tank ensures we always have a good supply of water, even during summer. I work a lot on my flat by the seaside to make it as comfortable as possible and I love hosting people so that they may enjoy Monte Argentario as much as I do. My assistant Silvana is always on hand to help guests.
Porto Santo Stefano is a small town; the sea is very clean and blue and you can buy fresh fish at the market every day. You can rent a small (or big) boat to explore all the beaches or you can just walk to some of the beaches close to the flat. There are lovely hikes to be done on the Monte Argentario itself, or take the ferry to the nearby islands. There are plenty of restaurants and bars to enjoy your meals watching the sunset and the boats come back to harbour.
