The Ammarin Bedouin Camp is more than just a campsite: it's a sustainable community development project for the Ammarin Bedouin tribe. Thanks to your stay and the camp's reliable incomes the members of the community will have food, education , jobs and dignity ! By staying at the Ammarin camp you'll have the chance to experience the real Bedouin culture: you can go hiking or camel/horse riding with a Bedouin escort, you can learn how to make Bedouin bread, you can take part in the Bedouin Coffee ceremony. And much more!

Property info

The Ammarin Bedouin Camp is the only camp belonging to a whole Bedouin community and it's the oldest camp in Petra's area. It's managed by a Bedouin Cooperative persueing the sustainable development of the Ammarin Bedouin tribe and the preservation of the Bedouin culture and landscape. It is also the most scenographic camp in Petra's area (no fear of denial!) and the closest to Little Petra. There is a little Ethno-botanic museum on site, spotlighting the local bedouin culture
