Company info

Majed Al-Zawaideh is the owner of the camp and belongs to a Bedouin tribe located in the Wadi Rum Reserve. The property was established in 2017 and is updated every year during the summer when we close the camp for a few weeks in order to renovate our facilities. Majed and his team are experts in the history and geography of Wadi Rum. With their tours and hospitality, they take care of everything

Located in the middle of the Waid Rum Conservation Area, our camp and resort features just 17 solid suites and studios, each with a private terrace, panoramic view and private bathroom. We are located in the gentle shadow of the mountain, which includes our own sand boarding area which can be used at any time for free. There are only a few locations in Wadi Rum and enjoy our outdoor terrace with a roaring fire or our stunning panoramic restaurant where we serve traditional Bedouin zarb prepared in our sand oven every evening. Complimentary water and tea are guaranteed during your stay, as well as eco-friendly facilities powered by solar panels. If you want to explore more of the desert, join us for a camel ride or jeep tour, or hike to the highest mountain in Jordan, our lovely team looks forward to welcoming you!

Surrounded by craggy mountains, below the Milky Way and between sunrise and sunset, you can fully immerse yourself in the enchanting nature and stunning views that Wadi Rum is famous for at Star camp and resort. Our parking is located in Al Disa village, where we will pick you up and drop you off in 4x4 jeeps in order to enjoy the desert to the fullest in our isolated place in the protected area of Wadi Rum. You can hike around or up our mountain or book a jeep tour with us to discover the most stunning sites in the desert. The more time you have, the more you will be able to see this magical spot on earth.
