My name is Saleem, and I founded the Jordan Tracks camp and travel agency in 2005. I grew up in the middle of the desert in a family of nomadic shepherds. I learned how to use all the beautiful things the nature offers. I'm proud to share these traditions with our guests, showing them my native environment and explaining my Bedouin culture. I particularly appreciate traditional music -I like to play my Oud, an Arabian 11-stringed instrument, for guests. I also enjoy riding my fast and spirited Arabian horses, and spending time with my camels.

One of the first licensed property in Wadi Rum desert, Jordan Tracks Bedouin Camp is a family affair, owned and run by members of Zalabieh tribe, local bedouins of Wadi Rum. From its creation 15 years ago, the property has evolved and is now proud to be defined as an eco-responsible camp.

Among the beauty of the desert, you will discover Jebel Khazali and its numerous rock inscriptions, the red sand dunes, the natural rock bridges of Um Fruth and Burdah, and you will be able to walk through history in the steps of Lawrence of Arabia by visiting Lawrence spring, or his ancient house.
